📋 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian
Age (as on 01.08.2024):
- Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years (born not before 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2006)
- Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18 to 27 years (born not before 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2006)
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules
🏆 Selection Procedure
1. Computer-Based Examination:
- The online examination will be of objective type, multiple-choice questions, with a total duration of two hours.
- Sections:
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 questions, 50 marks
- General Awareness: 50 questions, 50 marks
- English Language and Comprehension: 100 questions, 100 marks
- Total: 200 questions, 200 marks
2. Skill Test in Stenography:
- Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for the Skill Test.
- The Skill Test will be conducted at the Commission’s Regional/Sub-Regional Offices or other centers as decided by the Commission.
3. Final Selection:
- The final merit list and selection of candidates will be based on the combined marks of the online examination and skill test.
